Default Aaron Rodgers Thread

He's looked fantastic so far. So far his play has contradicted all the stupid people out their that think he will fail/etc. Hopefully he continues to play well and make good decisions, like he's been doing.

Our offense so far has been extremely conservative, hopefully we go out in the second half with more multiple WR sets and get rolling more, a lot of dump off passes to Brandon Jackson, etc.

Anyway, all's good right now.

Rodgers and those receivers are proving people wrong against arguably one of the best defenses in the league. It's pretty ludicrous that people thought these GB receivers weren't that good. I love what Rodgers is doing though, he's impressed me in every facet of the game.

Agreed, most people that follow football are stupid unfortunately, the same people that think Aaron Rodgers can't play, the Packers WR's are a result of Brett Favre, the Bears are a shitty team, etc.

It is fun proving them wrong year after year.

This game is way too close. Ugh.

The best run defense, their pass defense was one of the worst in the league last year and they are trying to improve it.

Yeah, he does look good. That bomb to Greg Jennings was fantastic, and he's had a couple other connections with him today. Those two have some great chemistry already. He has great smarts too. He makes his check downs efficiently and quickly, uses his eyes to shift the defense, and he doesn't seem to make bad decisions. He's got major wheels for a white guy too.

Bingo.

I wanna see them go up against a team like the Chargers, see how they do against them.

The reason their pass defense was bad last year is because teams going against them had to pass a ton because running up the middle did nothing. Also, they didn't have a pass rush last year, and that's another reason as to why their pass defense was mediocre. Now they have Jared Allen, so that should change. Their secondary is actually pretty solid with Darren Sharper, Ced Griffin, and Antoine Winfield.

I've been saying the Vikings aren't contenders all offseason, if we pull this out it puts a major chink in their armor, thats for sure. We will have beaten them 5 straight times.

The Vikings are the same team as last year with a great pass rusher thats getting nowhere near our QB because of Chad Clifton, and they have Bernard Berrian who won't get the ball because they have a shitty QB, and Madieu Williams is out with a neck injury, and the Vikings are suddenly contenders? Please.

I hate listening to Tony Kornheiser with Ron. Ron J knows more than any one man on earth should know about football, and Tony knows jack shit so all he wants to talk about is the replacing Brett Favre and how Rodgers is doing with his replacing Brett Favre. We all know that, having it on repeat does nothing but bother us all. I would very much like to hear just Jaws speaking about Rodgers.

Completely agree, it's just nauseating listening to Kornhesier dumb everything down, not to mention create the impression that most Packers fan are just blabbering Favre bobble heads. Shut the fuck up.

Get Tom Jackson in the booth with Jaws.

Goddamn it. We have 5 good WR's and we keep throwing 4 yard dumps, it's fucking sickening, it's like were not playing to win at all. Throw the ball past the fucking first down marker, we have two of the best deep threats in football, fucking christ.

Jackson isn't really all that shitty. His completion percentage is as bad as it is because so many of his receivers have dropped the ball on perfectly good throws.
