Xavier should have done what his heart and brain wanted him to do - go to Kentucky. But his bitch ass mom basically made this decision for him. Oh well, Wildcat Nation will move on.
Just in case you care: this is the kind of post that people will use to label you as a douche. No offense.
Why? It's true. You guys need to stop coming in this thread and acting like assholes, before you even read up on whats going on...
Yeah, I'm sure it's true. Their "bitch" mom really made the whole family stay in Kansas. Please, we can all call bullshit when we see it. There's alot more to it than that.
This is what I find funny about recruiting - there's so much attention put into it and people act like they're all connected to it and know all these things about it - but at the end of the day, people's coverage of recruiting is about as accurate as Shaq at the free throw line - and that's true whether it's your next door neighbor or some Rivals.com guru.
It's fun, I know - I love the NBA draft, which is similar (albeit a little more accurate) - but let's be honest - most of what you think you know isn't true. It really is a crapshoot to try and follow college recruiting.
I'm sure a lot of your thinking and beliefs is just what you want to believe, Bigshot, rather than what's actually the truth. You won't even be a UK fan once you go to college. I thought I'd die an Illinois fan, but after going to school in Arizona, there's no other school I cheer for now.
Jesus, I'm not some delusional kid who's feeding you guys bullshit. I link you guys stuff, and back it up. I can think for myself. I never said Xavier to Kentucky was a sure thing, but I - like the whole media - simply said it looked as if he could be making the move.
And just because you changed allegiances when you went to college, doesn't mean I will. I see no reason why I would just STOP being a fan of a team I've liked for most of my childhood. Especially with the program going in the direction it's going.

Every big Kentucky recruit should have done what their heart and brain wanted them to do - not go to Kentucky. But his bitch ass paycheck basically made the decision for him. Oh well, the rest of America will move on.

Meh, my brother still loves UConn and Ok. St. and he goes to CU.

Did you even read or listen to what Xavier's dad said? He said that Xavier wanted to go to Kentucky all along, but only went to Kansas because his mom wouldn't move to Kentucky to watch him play...
Well in the end, it should be his decision and his decision only. I hate when a stupid factor like parents influence a kid's decision on where to play. He should have told them both to fuck off and singed with the Spartans.

Carl Henry is a retard, I've followed this so much and all he does is flip flop and want to be the center of attention.
1. A lot of people think Cinci probably just did this for publicity. He is definitely not eligible to play anywhere and many people are laughing at Cinci for this. If he ever actually suits up for them(not likely), it will surely follow with an investigation.
2. I'm sure there are people saying this but I haven't heard this from anyone credible. I'm calling bullshit. Andy Katz has been saying a shit load of rumors without doing a backround check first. I would take anything he says with a grain of salt. Who knows though.
Just wanted to bump this, because Iversonfan and "his sources" were absolutely sure that Stephenson wouldn't be eligible this year. I never understood that, as Cincinnati is not retarded enough to sign a guy that they didn't think would play for them.
I think Arizona, and a lot of other big schools are regretting passing over this guy right about now.

Hey dumb fuck, keep in mind that Derrick Rose was cleared at the beginning of the season too. All this means is that RIGHT NOW, the NCAA cannot prove that Stephenson is ineligible. You clearly have no understanding of how the NCAA works. When a player is declared eligible at the beginning of the season, it does not mean that the NCAA is not going to pay attention to him especially when there are so many suspicions with him. The bottom line is that the Stephenson's approached many schools about recruiting their son. The schools investigated the situation and determined that there was a lot of sketchy stuff going on behind the scenes and that the risk was not worth the reward. You don't seem to understand that Cinci really was the ONLY school willing to take LS. There is a reason that only one school was willing to take a 5 star player. I mean it can't get anymore obvious than that.
