They suck. No way around it. missed 17 FTs today. With FT shooting this horrid, games that would normally be close, we lose. Games that should be blowouts are close. Until Rick barnes learns how to sub and the team practices FTs, Texas needs to start worrying about being in the tourny. Because they suck. period.

A few more thoughts.

1) It would be nice if we could hire shaq to be our Free Throw coach for a few weeks
2) Rick Barnes is being trashed in every newspaper, talk show, forums...basically everywhere. Deserves it too.
3) Jordan Hamilton will be a NBA All-Star one day. However, for now, he needs to learn when to shoot and when to pass.

I agree about Jordan Hamilton, in terms of pure talent, he is as talented as they come for freshman. Give him three years at Texas and he'll put it all together.

Dawgs finally finished tonight. Beat #18 Vandy by 12.

Cousins has been making a strong case for Player of the Year as of lately. There isnt a more efficient player for his MPG in college basketball, and there also might not be any better big men in the country.

Kansas has been playing well so far, but it's still early. They need to keep up this intensity.

Well yeah, but still it's

34-24 Kansas beating Damion James.

When Taylor's on the bench we are so much better off than if Taylor's on the court.

Texas just isn't good. It's that simple. A high school team could hang with them at this point if they ran a zone defense. I really don't understand some of this stuff.

I didn't think Texas was good at the beginning of the season.

You thought North Carolina had the best front court in the country and would beat Texas easily. So...no one cares what you think.

And it looks like that might be next game....Brown showed what he can do tonight when given minutes to play. Brown/Bradley/Hamilton/James/Pittman is a top 10 team. Balbay/Bradley/Mason/James/Pittman is an NIT team. Figure it out Rick Barnes.

Balbay needs to be demoted to ballboy with all that suckage. Anyways if we continue to suck ass down the strech, Barnes needs to be canend IMO. Dude has repeatedly pissed away a top ten program almost every year.

Here is a neat-o stat. Since Texas' "slump" began, Texas has missed 103 layups in 8 games.

I can not believe a team as talented as Texas has lost 5 games this early. Barnes really can not coach. Give other schools this talent and you have an easy final four team. I know it's still early, but man.

Barnes is a fantastic recruiter, but its the same fucking thing every year. Unless he has a star PG, his teams are worthless. No set offense, every player has to create their own shots. And the subbing is horrible.

On a much lighter note, Harrison Barnes is going to get out of his LOI to UNC.

Come to UCLA please and thank you !

Really though, he'd probably go to Kansas if he were to leave UNC.
