Default NCAA Basketball - Month 4

Were one month away from the best month in any sport.

- Coach Cal announced today that UK will unveil new uniforms on February 13th against Tennessee. Should be interesting.

"They've got to be the best one-win team in any conference in the country right now," said South Carolina coach Darrin Horn, whose Gamecocks needed 33 points from Devan Downey to escape with a 78-77 win over the Bulldogs on Saturday. "Every single one of their games they've been in or led inside of 10 minutes (to play). ... I just think they're hard to play against."

Impressive comments. The wins will come.

Opposing coaches throw out meaningless compliments to teams they play after every single game.

Good win for UK tonight, Ole Miss is a solid team. Our transition defense was horrid all night, and we really need to get that fixed. We've got all the athleticism in the world, but we don't use it on the defensive side of the ball. Still very inconsistent throughout games, and let teams in when we should be closing the door. I cant complain about much though, were 21-1.

So you're saying they're better than Nebraska and Depaul. The only other 1-win teams in major conferences. Yes, very impressive comments.

The guy was just making Georgia sound good since his team almost lost to them.....thats not a reason to be proud of your team. Being 1-5 in a BAD conference isn't a good thing.

Horrible game for MSU, fucking Kohl Center is the Spartans' Metrodome, just horrible. Now Lucas looked really hurt, that's the last thing we need.

Lucas went down with what looked like a bad sprain on his right ankle. That could be bad news for State, because those are the kind of injuries that kind haunt someone all the way into March.

They are better then Depaul and I've never seen Nebraska play. I don't really care about your anti-Georgia thoughts, I'm glad to see every coach we play recognizing we can't be taken lightly.

In other news, we are incapable of holding onto massive leads.

Being reasonable isn't being anti-Georgia. Every year I watch Mack Brown's post game press conferences and watch him call teams like UTEP and Louisiana Monroe and Rice "tough, dangerous teams." Is Rice a good football team too because Mack Brown said they were? No....they aren't. All coaches compliment the team they just played.

But, since you obviously get butthurt if someone doesn't cock slobber Georgia, I'll try something new. Instead of saying Georgia isn't good, I'll just say

are the teams that are better than georgia*. Does that make you feel better? God I bet you are one of those people who think participation trophies and not keeping score in little league is a good idea.

*RPI rankings have Georgia as the 99th best team in the nation.

If UK wins today, were guaranteed at least the #2 spot back.
