Free agent guard Carlos Arroyo is the latest NBA player to take his talent across the waters, as the 29-year-old point guard has signed a three-year, $7.5 million deal with Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel.
Dating back to 2001, Arroyo has played seven NBA seasons with five different organizations (Toronto, Denver, Utah, Detroit, and Orlando), in which he has held career averages of 7.0 points and 3.3 assists per game. Appearing in 62 games for the Magic throughout the 2007-2008 season as a backup to Jameer Nelson, he put up 6.9 points 3.5 assists per outing and posted a career-high free throw shooting clip of 85.3%.
