Posted by Dustin Chapman in Rumor has it that Sacramento Kings forward Ron Artest will be traded to the Houston Rockets. The Rockets are said to be including Bobby Jackson, a first round draft pick, cash considerations, and potentially rookie forward Donte Greene in the deal.
Per league rule, the deal cannot be made official until August 14 if Greene is indeed included in the package.
Absolutely outstanding deal for Houston. McGrady, Yao, Artest, and Battier - beautiful. Now that this team has some physical and mental toughness up front, I think that they are finally ready to advance in the playoffs if healthy.
