Well, at least the Nuggets have one thing to look foward to…

And that is going for the record of most points given up per game in a season. With the recent trading of Marcus Camby to the Los Angeles Clippers for a swappable second round draft pick, the Nuggets can now live in peace knowing that now the only players holding the team back from breaking this prestigious record last year are out of town. Without one of the best defensive players in the league on tThe sure won't miss Marcus Camby's shot blocking ability!he Nuggets, now all they need to do is continue their defensive habits from this past year and they’ll break the record in no time!

If you are a die hard Nuggets fan like I am, there is no need for us to root for them to win this year, because quite frankly we won’t make the playoffs and it will just make you more mad at the team. Instead, take my approach in rooting for them to give up as much points as possible per game and maybe even breaking the single game scoring record in which the Nuggets and the Pistons have right now from a 1983 game in which the Pistons score 186 and the Nuggets score 184, maybe this time though it won’t have to go into triple overtime!

Some of you might think I am joking when I say we might be able to give up the most points per game any team ever has in one season, but I am dead serious. Marcus Camby was the backbone to what defense we actually had, and now with him gone we can count on more points given up per game. It wouldn’t be crazy to say we could be giving up 115 ppg on average next season. With our lineup looking like it will consist of Anthony Carter, Allen Iverson, Carmelo Anthony, Kenyon Martin, Nene, JR Smith, and Linas Kleiza as our first 7 players filling up the depth chart, Nene is the only solid, somewhat consistant good defener, but he could just be injured again and miss half the season, or most of it.

The bottom line is that the Nuggets are a lock for the worst defense in the league and could end up coming up with the record for most points given up per game in one season unless if some dramatic move happens that gives us one or two good defenders, which I doubt will happen due to the front office’s mindset to make the biggest profit possible instead of winning games while still making some money.

Good stuff, although I think Denver was the worst defensive team in the league even with Camby.

Stay positive, Nuggets fans. Things have to get better some day, right?

It was a toss up last year between the Nuggets and Warriors, but now this defense could make history.

We do have something to look forward to, a fan buying the team from Kroenke or the death of Kroenke!
